Jonathan Skovholt

Jonathan Skovholt is the Director of Training and Information Services at CPA Global (formerly Landon IP, Inc.).  Mr. Skovholt holds a Master of Science in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Astronomy from Gustavus Adolphus College.  Prior to joining Landon IP, Mr. Skovholt worked as a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, examining optical measuring and testing devices such as Interferometers, spectrometers, defect detection, imaging, optical data processing, lithography systems, and MEMS structures.   While working as a patent analyst at Landon IP, Mr. Skovholt worked on projects including: medical imaging, medical monitoring, solar power, touch screens, LCD displays, backlight systems, stereoscopic systems, electrical components and connectors, electrochemical cells, camera systems, illumination systems, transducers, vehicle systems, missile systems, and heat transfer systems.  He has published works on the subject of Spintronics, specifically pertaining to noise in Magnetic Spin Tunnel Junctions.  Mr. Skovholt coordinates and facilitates the training of new patent analysts in the art of patent searching at CPA Global.  He also teaches the Art and Science of Patent Searching course to audiences worldwide.
