Are there any prerequisites for attending your Advanced Courses?

Please refer to the detailed syllabus for the course you are interested in attending. Most courses do not have prerequisites, however a few courses suggest that attendees have a certain number of years of experience to obtain maximum benefit from the course.

What are your Advanced Course payment methods?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Personal or Corporate Checks. Additionally, wire transfers of funds may be arranged. We do not accept purchase orders.

Once I submit my Advanced Course registration, when should I expect the course materials?

As our course materials are typically revised before each Advanced Program to incorporate the very latest information, we do not ship materials pre-course; all course materials are picked up on the first morning of class.

Do you ship Advanced Course materials overseas?

Due to tight production schedules, it is not possible to ship Advanced textbooks overseas. Our overseas attendees may pick up their materials at Program registration.

Can I purchase Advanced Course materials from other PRG Advanced Courses?

Yes. At course registration, you will receive an order form, which lists all of the textbooks available for sale (not all titles are offered) and their price. You can take the form with you and then submit it to PRG via facsimile, or if you wish to purchase textbooks at the Advanced Program, you may give the completed form to a PRG on-site Course Administrator.

Where are the courses held?

All courses are held at the Program location.

How do I obtain CLE credit for my course?

Please provide your active CLE information (states and bar ID numbers) when registering for your course. This will allow PRG to apply for CLE state approval in a timely manner and avoid incurring late fees.  If your state is a mandatory CLE state, we will have forms for you to pick up or complete on the morning break of the last day of class.

How do I obtain the posted PRG hotel room rate?

Please be sure to identify yourself as a Patent Resources Group attendee when making your room reservation. Please contact our office if you encounter difficulties in the room reservation process.

Is there a dress code?

No, most attendees dress casually. Please be aware that as classroom temperatures are often difficult to regulate, it may be prudent to pack a light sweater or sweatshirt.

Is lunch provided?

No. A continental breakfast, mid-morning beverage break, and an afternoon beverage and food break are provided.

Do I receive a Certificate of Attendance?

You may request one during the course or submit your request via email:registrar@patentresources.com
