This one-day course examines troubling, recent Federal Circuit cases holding patents to be invalid, not infringed, or unenforceable as the result of patent preparation and prosecution practices commonly employed by the patent bar, and offers suggestions to avoid such consequences. The course is presented by Paul Gardner, the Academic Director of Patent Resources Group, who has 45 years of experience in examining and prosecuting patent applications, litigating patents, and teaching patent law and Patent Office practice to thousands of students for PRG and the UCLA, University of Washington, and Seattle University law schools.

Patent Law Guide for Inventors, Investors, Paralegals and Non-Patent Lawyers – August 13-15, 2008, Washington, DC
