"The Most Enabling and Empowering Patent Law Courses in the World"
Patent Resources Group offers the largest number of advanced patent law courses.
These rigorous programs fill a unique void due to frequent changes in case law and
patent legislation. Because the courses address current practices and are taught
by experienced practitioners, attendees receive up-to-the-minute instruction in
complex aspects of the law.
Even the best law schools are ill-equipped to fill these unique needs in the practice
of patent law.
Any of our Advanced Courses may be attended beneficially to fill a gap that may have been opened by the many new and pressing developments in
patent law. Federal Circuit cases, legislative enactments, and newly promulgated
Rules can become black holes with which a practitioner may best cope by accessing
the anti-gravity protection that PRG’s focused courses provide.
Of the recent courses offered, several of them, if attended over a period of years, would:
- Constitute the equivalent of two LL.M.s or a Doctorate (less the dissertation) in
patent law and its practice; and
- Establish the attendee among the top 5 percent of profoundly competent patent
lawyers and practitioners.
The course faculty, selected by Professors Irving Kayton and Paul Gardner, are
in the class of practitioners most knowledgeable and competent in their subjects.
Several are adjunct professors of law; others are highly accomplished practitioners, including a former U.S. District Court judge and former technical advisors and law clerks to Federal Circuit judges. The most important features of PRG faculty members are
that:
- They have written the definitive texts that are the foundations of their courses; and
- They have conclusively demonstrated in practice their mastery of the subjects
that they teach for PRG attendees.
PRG Advanced Courses meet the professional needs and interests of patent
practitioners from the day they are admitted to practice until the day they retire.
In sum, our courses will:
- Expand your services to your clients
- Dramatically enhance your competencies
- Grow your practice faster
- Provide you with regular CLE credit
